Al-Hashed Al-Shaabe announced the holding of an expanded security meeting to discuss all security preparations for the Arbaeen visit to the headquarters of Al-Hashed Al-Shaabe Operations Command in Basra.

Today, Monday, the General Information Directorate of the authority said that Al-Hashed Al-Shaabe Command in Basra held a security coordination meeting to discuss the security plan for the Arbaeen day of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him), where the commander of the crowd operations in Basra, Mahdi Saleh Abdul Wahed, chaired the meeting.

She added that “the meeting included the lords of the brigades of Al-Hashed Al-Shaabe and the directors of the executive, intelligence, control and support offices within the formations of the crowd authority, during which a comprehensive presentation was presented on the plan to secure the protection of visitors to the holy shrines in detail.”

The commission pointed out that “the meeting reviewed the measures that will be taken to secure protection for visitors expected to pass through the province on foot and who are coming from Islamic countries through the Islamic Republic of Iran, along with the people of the province towards the holy Karbala to commemorate the millionth event.”
