Ziyarat al-Arba’een the millionth event of the leader of the youth of Paradise, Imam Hussein, begins on the first day of Safar and lasts until the twentieth day. It’s named “Ziyarat al-Arba’een” because it marks forty days since the martyrdom of Imam Hussein and his companions on the tenth day of Muharram in the year 61 AH. They arrange accommodations, prepare different types of food and drinks, and offer medical, guidance, cultural, social, and organizational services, all of which are provided voluntarily by the local residents. Only a small portion of the services is supported by government entities. It is from this perspective that al-Hashd al-Shaabi took the initiative to create a website that discusses this significant event and sheds light on the greatest visitation in the history of humanity.
